Berlin based record label Asphalt Tango Records evolved around the incredible rise of Romanian Gypsy brass band Fanfare Ciocarlia. Whilst maintaining a focus over its 25 year life in its roots of Gypsy music from the Balkans, its curation has spread to include musical releases spanning Eastern and Northern Europe, and North America, within genres including Electronica, Psych Folk, Rock and Breaks.
